The story of Carlis

Carlis was born from a simple desire: to create clothing made in France, with exceptional fabrics and a know-how passed down through generations.

Florence has been sewing for years. Her creations, initially intended for her loved ones, have become a mother-daughter family adventure: Florence in charge of design and sewing, Alis in charge of strategy and customer support.

A love of beautiful fabrics

It all started with a passion for exceptional fabrics, the kind you don't find in ready-to-wear. One day, Florence walked into a fabric store and bought a magnificent piece of mohair, without even knowing how to sew.

It was this love of beautiful materials that led her to learn sewing and fashion design. For 10 years, she created bespoke pieces for clients who were captivated by her fabrics, her tailoring, and her design.

Today, Carlis allows all our customers to acquire strong pieces that set them apart, revitalize their wardrobe and give them confidence every day.

Our commitment

Each piece is handmade in France by Florence. No mass production: we work in unique pieces or very small series, depending on the fabrics available.

Our fabrics come from designers' end-of-line stock, which makes each creation unique and limits our environmental impact.
